About Louis
Born and raised in London, UK — the home of golf — Louis Meadows grew up immersed in the professional game. Following his father, renowned golf professional and TV presenter Chris Meadows, he spent his early years around elite tournaments including PGA Tour events, regularly observing and learning from some of the game’s greatest players such as Tiger Woods, Nick Faldo, Lee Westwood, Rory McIlroy, and Tommy Fleetwood.
He also had the rare opportunity to interact with world-leading coaches including Butch Harmon and David Leadbetter, gaining early insight into what separates not only top players, but those who continue improving from those who plateau. The consistent message he heard was simple: master the fundamentals and give all players a complete understanding of the golf game.
Today, Louis combines traditional British and international golf fundamentals with modern performance science — an approach still not taught in Japan, which still has many coaches who teach a few points rather than an extensive knowledge of the golf game. His coaching focuses not only on what to fix, but why faults occur, how to practise effectively, how long improvement typically takes, and how to build a repeatable improvement process.
Applying these principles to his own game, Louis achieved a personal best score of 67, drives the ball over 300 yards, and developed a deep understanding of how structured, efficient practice can transform performance.
Having worked extensively across both Japanese and international golf environments, Louis bridges cultural and technical approaches to provide coaching that is globally informed yet tailored to each individual golfer.
Beyond coaching, Louis is actively involved in golf media, tournament operations, and international golf development. Through direct work with elite players, tournaments, and global golf organisations, he brings firsthand insight into how the world’s best golfers train, think, and perform — knowledge he now shares with his students.
